TEMPORARY CLOSURE - BARGO WASTE MANAGEMENT CENTRE

Bargo Waste Management Centre will be temporarily CLOSED for two weeks from Saturday 27 April to Sunday 12 May while we make changes to the layout of the site. The site will re-open on Monday 13 May.
The next closest waste management centre is REMONDIS Resource Recovery Facility - 67 Wonga Road, Picton - Ph: 13 73 73
Alternatively, there are other waste facilities that residents can access outside the Shire including at Spring Farm, Bowral and Penrith. Problem wastes such as gas bottles, paint, motor oil and batteries can be disposed of at your local Community Recycling Centre for free.

Wollondilly Flood Event Information

DISASTER DECLARATION - WOLLONDILLY 

A natural disaster has been declared for the Wollondilly LGA in the wake of the recent flooding event of 5 April 2024.

Council is working with the NSW Reconstruction Authority   to make sure support is in place for our impacted businesses and community members, including assistance funding.

As the recovery from the flood event in Wollondilly continues, we really appreciate the support that has been received from our wonderful community.

Any damage to roads and Council facilities can be reported through Council’s Customer Portal https://portal.wollondilly.nsw.gov.au/s/ so we can make repairs as soon as possible.
